Thanks for signing up for 2026 Kids of Steel as a Volunteer.
Because we are moving to a new site this year, we are waiting for the snow to melt before we can make final decisions about the course. This means some of these shift times and available spots may change as we get closer to the event. This event also is subject to change as we go. If we are finding trouble spots, because we don't always think like a kid, we will rearrange volunteers to locations we need more support. The younger kids need more help and the older kids need less so we will adjust as we go.
We will have snacks and drinks for our volunteers on site. Please dress for the weather and prepare to have a great day with the kids.
I have made most shifts for the whole event time, however, some shifts may be done earlier than indicated on the shift time.
If you have any specific requests for mobility reasons or other, please don't hesitate to let us know so we can accommodate you and make you feel comfortable.
